Glabbeek is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 5271 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It consists of the districts of Attenrode-Wever , Bunsbeek , Glabbeek-Zuurbemde and chapels .
Leuven is 16 kilometers (km) to the west, the city center of Brussels about 40 km to the west, and Maastricht and Liège each 50 km to the east and south-east.
The next motorway exits are at Bekkevoort in the north on the A 2 and at Tienen in the south on the A 3 / E 40 . The nearest regional train stations are in
