Zonhoven ( Limburgish : Zoneve ) is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 21,237 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019).
Hasselt is seven kilometers south, Maastricht 26 kilometers southeast and Brussels about 72 kilometers west.
The next motorway exit Houthalen-Zonhoven on the A2 / E 314 is on the northern outskirts.
