Heers ( Limburgish : Hiër ) is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 7391 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It consists of the eponymous capital and numerous smaller surrounding villages.
Sint-Truiden is eleven kilometers northwest, Tongeren twelve kilometers northeast, Hasselt 20 kilometers north, Liège 23 kilometers southeast and Brussels approx. 65 kilometers west.
The next motorway exits are in the south at Waremme on the A3 / E 40 and in the east at Tongeren on the A13 / E 313 .
The nearest regional train stations are in Waremme, Sint-Truiden and Tongeren .
Liège Airport and Maastricht Aachen Airport are the closest regional airports and close to the capital, Brussels, there is Brussels National International Airport .
