Kluisbergen is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 6,488 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). The municipality consists of the four districts Berchem , Kwaremont , Ruien and Zulzeke . It is located on the right (eastern) bank of the Scheldt . In the south there is the wooded and 141 meter high ridge of the Kluisberge , which is a popular destination.

Oudenaarde is 11 km northeast, Kortrijk 16 km west, Ghent 33 km north and Brussels about 62 km east.

traffic

The next motorway exits are to the west at Deerlijk and Waregem on the A14 / E17 .

In Ronse , Anzegem - Vichte are the next Oudenaarde and Kortrijk regional stations and in Ghent also hold about regional express trains.
