Oudenaarde is 6 kilometers northwest, Ghent 24 km north and Brussels about 100 km east.

The next motorway exits are in the west at Deerlijk and Waregem on the A14 / E 17 and in the northeast at Wetteren and Erpe-Mere on the A10 / E 40 . The nearest regional train stations are in
Oudenaarde, Zwalm , Zottegem , Lierde and Ronse , and national express trains also stop in Ghent.
