The district of Oudenaarde is one of six districts (arrondissements) in the Belgian province of East Flanders . It covers an area of 418.80 km² with 124,342 inhabitants ( as of January 1, 2019 ) in ten municipalities.
It is both an administrative and a judicial district. The municipalities of Geraardsbergen , Herzele , Sint-Lievens-Houtem and Zottegem of the Aalst district also belong to the judicial district .
