Wortegem-Petegem is a municipality in the province of East Flanders in Belgium with 6397 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It lies on the left bank of the Scheldt and consists of the districts Elsegem , Moregem , Ooike , Petegem-aan-de-Schelde and Wortegem . Wortegem-Petegem is 25 km south of Ghent .

In Anzegem , Oudenaarde, Waregem and Ronse are the next regional stations and in Ghent also hold about regional express trains.
