Location of the Liege district in the Liege Province

The district of Liège ( French arrondissement administratif de Liège ) is one of four districts in the Belgian province of Liège . It covers an area of ​​796.87 km² with 624,422 inhabitants ( as of January 1, 2019 ) in 24 municipalities.

It is both an administrative and a judicial district. The district of Liège also includes the municipalities of Berloz , Crisnée , Donceel , Faimes , Fexhe-le-Haut-Clocher , Geer , Oreye , Remicourt and Waremme of the Waremme district . The municipality of Comblain-au-Pont , which belongs to the Liege administrative district, is part of the Huy judicial district .
