Dirk Riesener

Dirk Riesener (* 1961 ) is a German historian and author .

Life

Dirk Riesener studied history and German at the University of Hanover and received his doctorate in 1995 with a thesis on the Hanover Police Department in the Kingdom of Hanover .

In addition to his studies on Hanover's police history, Riesener published on Lower Saxony's regional and church history.
