Dirk Spannuth (born August 16, 1967 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The striker Dirk Spannuth began his career at TuS Kleinenbremen in Porta Westfalica and later moved to Werder Bremen via FC Gohfeld . Without being part of the professional team, Spannuth moved to the upper division TSV Havelse in 1988 , with whom he was promoted to the second division two years later . In 31 second division games, Spannuth scored four goals and could not prevent the relegation of his team. After the missed re-promotion he went to TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus , with whom he was champion of the Oberliga Westfalen in 1994 but missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 1996/97 season, Spannuth still played for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , before ending his career at SC Herford in 1997.
