Dirk Topolewski (born March 5, 1962 in Bochum ) is a German international champion in correspondence chess .

Correspondence chess

Topolewski began correspondence chess in 1977 and immediately won his first tournament (AK 606). With first places in I / 2230 and H / 1034, she was quickly promoted to the master class. In 1982 he won the ICCF World Cup V, Group 49. In the second half of the 1980s, Topolewski won the world tournaments in Master Class 326 and Master Class 403. Dirk Topolewski took first place at the Bochum City and Youth City Championships in 1980.
