Dirk Wüllbier (born July 29, 1966 in Aschersleben ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .
Player career
Wüllbier joined the Stuttgarter Kickers in 1992 from Halleschen FC . Initially playing in the position of defensive midfielder, he was later a defender for the Swabians. In 1993/94 he got down with his club in the Regionalliga Süd . Two years later he returned to the 2nd division . After he was mostly a substitute in the 1998/99 season , he was transferred to the club's amateur team at the end of the season. There he played for two years in the association league Württemberg and Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and went to SC Echterdingen for one season in the state league in 2001/02, where he let his career end.
Coaching career
From 2002 to 2005 Wüllbier worked as an assistant trainer for the U19 of the Stuttgarter Kickers . From 2005 to April 2007 he worked as a player-coach in the district league at TSV Waldenbuch. In 2007/08 he was assistant coach of the second team at SV Bonlanden . Since 2009 Wüllbier has been a trainer in the football school of VfB Stuttgart .
Private
Today Wüllbier is the owner of a tanning salon.
