Disko 4000 was an Estonian dance-pop group that competed at Eesti Laul 2010 and finished seventh in the final. After the performance, the quartet separated again.

Cast and background

The best known of the band was Piret Järvis , who celebrated success across Europe with the girl group Vanilla Ninja . She was the front woman of the band and sang the song Ei Usu alone, with the support of background singers in the chorus. In 2005 she competed with Vanilla Ninja for Switzerland with the title Cool Vibes at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 , and reached eighth place. The other three band members Sander Loite, Paul Oja and Kallervo Karu are rather unknown in Estonia.

Eesti Laul 2010

Ei Usu was released in Estonia on January 28, 2010. In addition, a Tallinn Funk Remix was made public on the same day . Piret Järvis and Sander Loite produced the title, the lyrics were written by Paul Oja and Kallervo Karu. According to the rules of the Eurovision Song Contest, the piece has a duration of less than three minutes. The fashion designer Liina Stein, well-known in Estonia, designed the costumes for her appearance . These were laid out in black and white.

With Ei Usu they started on March 12, 2010 in the Nokia Concert Hall in Tallinn . Her starting number in the final was six. With seven points, they finished seventh in the end.
