Distance stone Morsleben
The Morsleben distance stone is a historic milestone near Morsleben in Saxony-Anhalt .
The listed stone is located at the eastern exit of the village, which belongs to the municipality of Ingersleben , on the northern edge of Bundesstraße 1 . The Prussian round base stone made of granite dates from around 1820/30. At this time, too, the road was of supraregional importance for traffic and served as a post road .
The round stone, ending in a flat point at the top, is 72 cm high and 46 cm in diameter and is not decorated.
