history
Ingersleben was first mentioned in 1111 as Ingressleben and in 1121 as Iggersleve . The part of the name Inger comes from the personal name Ingher , the ending -leben means: "legacy, inheritance".
In the Middle Ages the place Ingersleben, also West-, then Aller-Ingersleben ( Ingersleben uff der Alre ) was called. It originally belonged to the nobles of Waresleben and Hornburg, then to the Counts of Grieben zu Ammensleben . The patronage and 25 hooves came to the Groß Ammensleben monastery in 1120 . In the 14th century it belonged to the von Bartensleben family ; The von Berwinkel family was also wealthy in the village, and in 1395 Busso von Berwinkel bequeathed half a tithe of the village to the Marienborn monastery . The other half was owned by von Alvensleben zu Erxleben . The patronage later came to the Ludgerikloster in front of Helmstedt and by comparison essentially to the von Veltheim family since 1662 . After the Thirty Years' War , Alleringersleben only had 60 adult residents in 1650. At the beginning of the 18th century there was a devastating conflagration that completely cremated the lower part of the village; also in Ostingersleben in 1792, when 33 residential areas were destroyed.
In 1818 there were in Alleringersleben a Vorwerk with sheep farm (owned: Veltheim), 61 houses, 399 inhabitants, a Lutheran church with a school, a pitcher and three water mills; in Ostingersleben (ownership / patronage: von Alvensleben zu Erxleben) 65 houses, 446 inhabitants, an Evangelical Lutheran church, a jug and a windmill.
On January 1, 2010, the previously independent communities of Alleringersleben, Eimersleben, Morsleben and Ostingersleben merged to form the new community of Ingersleben. This became a member community of the Flechtingen Association, which was also founded on that day. On the same day, the Flechtingen administrative community was also dissolved.
