history

The community came into being on January 1, 2010. It was formed from the merger of the previously independent communities Loitsche and Heinrichsberg . The merger takes place against the background of the municipal area reform in Saxony-Anhalt and the minimum number of 1000 inhabitants in municipalities that belong to an association municipality, as stipulated in the accompanying law.

coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved by the district on February 18, 2010.

Blazon : "Red over gold divided by silver-blue divided corrugated beams, at the top three gold roses with red wreathed golden slugs, growing below a black grooved red pinnacle tower with an open black gate, growing out of the tower a golden armed black eagle looking to the left."

At its constituent meeting on January 13, 2010, the council of the municipality Loitsche-Heinrichsberg decided on his coat of arms, which consists of elements of the coats of arms of his districts Loitsche and Heinrichsberg. The roses come from the Loitsch coat of arms and go back to the von Alvensleben family; the tower with the eagle is borrowed from the Heinrichsberg coat of arms.

The coat of arms was designed by the municipal heraldist Jörg Mantzsch and included in the approval process.

flag

The flag is yellow-red (1: 1) striped (horizontal shape: stripes running horizontally, lengthways shape: stripes running vertically) and centered with the municipal coat of arms.
