history

Eimersleben was first mentioned in 1043 as Emerisleve .

Eimersleben got its original name from Oymersleve. The name was made up of the Germanic and founder of the Oymers settlement and the word leve .

In parlance, it probably meant going to Oymersleve . In the course of time it became Eimersleben.

On January 1, 2010, the previously independent communities of Eimersleben, Alleringersleben , Morsleben and Ostingersleben merged to form the new community of Ingersleben.

mayor

The honorary mayor Bernd-Hagen Hille († May 2007) had been in office since May 12, 1996. After new elections in December 2007, Kay Peters was mayor, who held this office until the municipality was dissolved and the municipality of Ingersleben was re-established.
