Alleringersleben is a part of the municipality Ingersleben in the district of Börde in Saxony-Anhalt .

Location and history

Alleringersleben lies in the fertile Magdeburg Börde . The village profited from the boom that industrial sugar production brought to the Börde in the second half of the 19th century. Numerous farms still shape the village today. In 1889 the Actien-Zuckerfabrik Alleringersleben was founded, which produced sugar and syrup from sugar beet and also produced bricks. The factory was connected to the railway network via the Marienborn-Beendorfer Kleinbahn . At the beginning of the 1950s, agriculture was collectivized and an LPG was founded, although initially there were still some individual farmers. After the inner-German border was closed in 1961, the place not far from the then Helmstedt-Marienborn border crossing was initially part of the restricted area . Visits were only possible with permission and a permit. Later the exclusion zone was tightened and Alleringersleben was accessible again.

On January 1, 2010, the previously independent communities of Alleringersleben, Eimersleben , Morsleben and Ostingersleben merged to form the new community of Ingersleben.

Alleringersleben is an old Langobard settlement and was first mentioned in 1120. The first place name was Iggersleve, then Ingersleven, later Westingersleve because another village with the name Ostingersleve was established in the immediate vicinity, today Ostingersleve. Later called Alleringersleben because of the proximity of the Aller. The first landlords were the nobles of Maresleve (Morsleben) and Hornburg. Then in 1120 Count Theodoric ll. von Gieben zu Ummensleben his descendants sold the village in 1275 to the owners of the castle in Bartensleben. After the Thirty Years' War in 1650, only 60 adults lived in Alleringersleben; in the later years around 1782, 316 adults lived in the village. After the Napoleonic Wars, the village now had 382 adults in 1823.
