Diviciacus (Suessionen)
Diviciacus was a prince of the Belgian Suessionen .
As Caesar reports in his report de bello Gallico , Diviciacus was some time before the Gallic War - perhaps around 80 BC. BC - the most powerful Celtic prince of Gaul . His empire extended from today's Belgium, where the ancestral land of the Suessionen was located, to Britain . In addition to the brief mention by Caesar, some bronze coins of the Diviciacus have survived.
