The Djebel Semmama ( Arabic جبل سمامة) is a maximally 1314 m high arid mountain north-east of the Tunisian city of Kasserine .
Ascent
It is possible to climb the summit as part of a hike lasting several hours, but after the Tunisian revolution of 2010/11, the area has a reputation for being a retreat for terrorists and is therefore controlled by the army.
