Isabell Meinhart (born July 11, 1994 in Lich ) is a German basketball player .

Life

She has been playing basketball since she was five. She was an exchange student in Vermont / USA for a year. She attended the Grünberg Theo Koch School as a boarding school student at the Grünberg part-time basketball boarding school . In 2014 she was honored for her achievements by the HBV regional trainer and first chairman of the Basketball Association Eberhard Spissinger with the Förderkreis-Ehrenpreis.

Isabell Meinhart was a player on the school team of the Theo Koch School at the 2009 Basketball School World Cup in Istanbul . In 2011 she was also part of the Theo Koch school team, this time at the World Schools World Championships in Zhangjiagang , China , where the Grünbergs team took fourth place.

Basketball career

The 1.76 m tall athlete ran through the youth teams of TSV Grünberg . With these youth teams, she was successful in several German championships : In 2007 with the U14, 2008 with the U16 and 2013 with the U19 2013 of TSV Grünberg. The best U19 team is determined in the cup mode in the absence of a championship round and the winning team is officially listed as the cup winner.

In 2012, Isabell Meinhart was together with Laura Steuber, Mimi Drevensek and Viktoria Ribel German champion at the DBB-German final in street basketball "3x3".

Isabell Meinhart played for the second division club Bender Baskets Grünberg until 2014 . In the 2013/2014 season she also worked for the first division club BC Marburg , the cooperation partner of the Bender Baskets. There she was able to appear due to a double license . For the 2014/2015 season, she moved to the first division club NB Oberhausen. After Oberhausen's relegation, she signed another contract with her home club Bender Baskets Grünberg for the 2015/2016 season.

National team

Isabell Meinhart went through the selection teams of the German Basketball Federation . She was a member of the U20 national team , which became European B champion in 2014 and was promoted to European A championship class.
