Lordship of Göffingen

The Göffingen rule was a rule based on Göffingen Castle in Göffingen , a district of the municipality of Unlingen in the Biberach district ( Baden-Württemberg ). She first came to the Reichenau Monastery as a fief . Since 1476, the Lords of Hornstein-Hertenstein, with the exception of a pledge from 1518 to 1528 to the Lords of Stotzingen , were permanently enfeoffed with the rule of Göffingen. They sold them to the Princes of Thurn and Taxis in 1790 .

As part of the mediatization in 1806, the rule of Göffingen came under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Württemberg .
