Djupedals

The Djupedalen is a valley filled with glacial ice in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . On the western edge of Orvinfjella , it separates the Filchner Mountains from the neighboring Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains .

Aerial photographs and measurements by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) were used for mapping. His Norwegian name means "deep valley" when translated into German .
