Djura Džudžar ( Serbian - Cyrillic Ђура Џуџар ; born April 22, 1954 in Đurđevo ( Batschka ), Yugoslavia ) is the Greek Catholic Bishop of Ruski Krstur in Serbia.

Life

Djura Džudžar was ordained a priest for the Greek-Catholic diocese of Križevci in Croatia on September 7, 1980 .

On March 3, 2001 he was appointed auxiliary bishop of the Ukrainian eparchy Mukacheve of the Ruthenian Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II , at the same time he was titular bishop of Acrassus . He received the episcopal ordination from Pope John Paul II on March 19, 2001, co-consecrators were the Curia Cardinals Angelo Sodano and Giovanni Battista Re . The appointment as the first exarch of the Apostolic Exarchate of Serbia and Montenegro took place on August 28, 2003. With the elevation of the exarchate to the eparchy of Sankt Nikolaus Ruski Krstur on December 6, 2018, he became its first diocesan bishop .
