Dmitri Yevgenevich Lyubinsky

Dmitri Evgenjewitsch Lyubinski ( Russian: Дмитрий Евгеньевич Любинский; born December 1, 1967 in Moscow ) is a Russian diplomat and since August 2015 the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Austria .

Lyubinsky graduated from the Moscow University of International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in 1989 and entered the diplomatic service in the same year. From November 21 to 23, 1991, Lyubinsky was part of the delegation of the first President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin during his visit to the Federal Republic of Germany . From 1992 to 1996 he was the office manager of the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation. From 1996 to 2000, Ljubinski worked as Counselor at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bonn and Berlin, then until 2004 - as Deputy Director of the Fourth European Department in the Russian Foreign Ministry.

From 2001 to 2003 he was envoy to Austria and then returned as deputy director to the Third European Department of the Foreign Ministry, which he took over as head on March 22, 2010. On August 10, 2015, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Austria by Decree No. 416 of the Russian President.

Ljubinski is married and has two daughters (born in 1992 and 2002). In addition to Russian, he also speaks German and English .
