Doc Esser - The Health Check is an information program of the West German Broadcasting Corporation and the umbrella brand for the spin-offs Doc Esser - Das Gesundheitsmagazin , Doc Esser - Online Consultation , Doc Esser and Doc Esser & Co. It deals with health and nutritional issues and is located at the consumer editorial office of the WDR. The editors are Margit Höh and Klaus Brock. The show has been in production since 2016, the spin-offs were added from 2018. It is broadcast in the evening program of WDR television . Some episodes were taken over by SWR TV and HR TV . Repetitions are shown on ARD-alpha . The show is moderated by the doctor Heinz-Wilhelm "Heiwi" Esser , known as Doc Esser .
