Dog from the stinky feet farm

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dog von der Stinkfußfarm orig: Footrot Flats is a New Zealand comic strip that was drawn and written by Murray Ball from 1975 to 1994 .

action

Dog is a border collie who lives on the stinkefoot farm and often has to help his master whale there. It is often very chaotic.

main characters

  • Dog: Dog was born in a cat shelter. He is a little scared, but is very committed to those who are important to him. "Dog" is just his nickname, by the way. He doesn't seem to like his real name because one of the show's running gags is that he always interrupts when someone mentions him. The model for Dog was by the way Murray Ball's own dog, whose death meant the end of the series.
  • Wallace "Wal" Stinkfuß: His original name is Cadwallader Footrot. Whale looks very coarse and swears a lot. Nevertheless, he has a very sensitive side, which he does not want to admit. He is also very enthusiastic about sports, especially rugby.
  • Darlene Hobson: She is the hairdresser in Raupo town and Wals dream woman. Although she seems to like him too, she can't really get used to country life.
  • Pongo: She is Wals niece. Her name is originally Janice.
  • Rangi Jones: This boy is from the neighborhood and often helps out with whale. Dog distrusts him something because Rangi dreams of a hat made of dog fur.
  • Andy Windgras: His original name is Cooch. He is Wal's closest neighbor and a good friend. Dog is in love with his border collie bitch Jessy.
  • Aunt Dolly: She is Wals aunt and the owner of the cat shelter where Dog was born. She brought him to the farm and also gave him the name he hates.
  • Prince Charles: This Welsh Corgi is Aunt Dolly's dog. Dog doesn't particularly like him because he often receives preferential treatment.
  • Sore muscles: His original name is Horse. This sturdy tomcat is one of Dog's friends, but one should be careful around him. Like Dog himself, sore muscles are based on a real animal that Murray Ball knew.
