The Doha Convention Center Tower is a construction project for a 112-story skyscraper in Doha , the capital of Qatar .

Construction began at the end of 2008, but was suspended for an indefinite period in mid-2009 for economic reasons. Even after construction began, hardly any tenants could be found for the building. Completion was originally planned for 2012. With a height of 551 meters, the building would be one of the highest in the world. The silhouette of the skyscraper rises in a very slender form and becomes slightly narrower towards the top. The normal building should reach up to a height of 426 meters (in reinforced concrete construction ), over which a steel frame should follow, up to the roof at a height of 551 meters. According to the plans, hotel rooms are to be created in the lower area, while apartments are planned further above.

The projected skyscraper is part of the Doha Convention Center, a large conference center. The rest of the building complex is still under construction, only work on the tower has been suspended.
