The Dokumacılar (also: "Dokumacı Group") were a cell of the Islamic State terrorist militia in Turkey. The Dokumacılar were named after the leader Mustafa Dokumacı (born July 3, 1985 in Seyhan ). At times the group consisted of 60 people. The Dokumacılar carried out various attacks in Turkey, including the 2015 Suruç attack , the June 5, 2015 Diyarbakır attack and the 2015 Ankara attack . The regional focus of the group was the city of Adıyaman .

As part of an al-Qaeda investigation, members' phone calls have been tapped since 2013 and a court case against members of the cell was opened in Adıyaman in December 2014. The phone calls revealed that members of the group had fought on the side of the Islamic State in Syria . In particular, the Dokumacılar fought against the regions under the control of the Partiya Yekitîya Democrat (PYD) in Tall Abyad in Rojava . Your attacks in Turkey were directed against the Halkların Demokratik Partisi , which, like the PYD, is part of the Kurdistan Workers' Party .
