Dollerupholz

Dollerupholz (Danish Dollerupskov ) is a district of Westerholz in Schleswig-Holstein .

The name Dollerupholz is explained by the forest ownership of the farmers from Dollerup . The first documentary mention comes from the year 1607. In 1750 Dollerupholz already had its own school, which in 1801 was moved to Osterholz.

Dollerupholz initially belonged to the Grundhof parish . With the Prussian administrative reform in 1867, Dollerupholz became an independent municipality; Dollerupholz lost this status with the administrative reform on January 1, 1970: It was incorporated into Westerholz.

In the municipality register of 1900 Dollerupholz is registered with 213 inhabitants. At the beginning of the 20th century, the population remained in the order of 200.

Dollerupholz is also mentioned in the legend of the crowing cock of the city of Flensburg .
