Dolmen La Cabane de la Fée
The Dolmen La Cabane de la Fée (dt. House of the Fairy) is located in the hamlet of Eyzat, north of Beynat near Brive-la-Gaillarde in the Corrèze department in France .
The simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) lies on a meadow. In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
A strongly rounded capstone about 3.0 m × 2.0 m lies at an angle on two long, not equally high, lateral supporting stones above a slightly trapezoidal chamber. The two inwardly inclined side stones are pointed at the top. The cap stone is round oval and the smaller end stone does not reach the chamber height.
About 4.3 km to the northwest is the similarly built dolmen of Rochesseux .
