Dolmen Vinya del Rei
The well-preserved north-south oriented dolmen Vinya del Rei ( King's Vineyard ) is located in Vilajuïga near Figueres in Alt Empordà in Catalonia in Spain .
It has a trapezoidal chamber made of local gneiss measuring around 2.8 × 2.2 meters. The long sides in the west and east have two bearing stones. The north side is closed by a stone. On the south side, a half stone narrows the access to the chamber. The capstone measures 4.15 × 2.95 meters. Remnants of the hill have been preserved.
Nearby are the Dolmen del Barranc de Vilajuïga, Dolmen Carena , Dolmen del Garrollar, Dolmen de les Ruïnes and Dolmen de la Talaia.
