In France there are several complexes or megaliths with the name part “au (x) Loup (s) or du-Loup” (e.g. the dolmen Pierre aux Loups , the “Table du Loup” or the menhir la “Roche aux Loups” ").

The dolmen with the sloping ceiling plate, supported by three preserved bearing stones, about 4.0 m long, is about 1.5 meters high and has the shape of a Cornish quoit . Inside there is a large flat stone almost flush with the floor level. Three polished stone axes were found nearby.
