The dolmen from Monte Serves is located on a mountain slope in Verdelha do Ruivo near Vialonga in the Vila Franca de Xira district in the Lisbon district in Estremadura in Portugal .

The dolmen , excavated in 1972, was discovered by Octavio da Veiga Ferreira during geological analyzes in the Vila Franca de Xira region. Few artifacts have been found, making it difficult to date the monument. Due to the way it was built and with reference to other characteristic specimens in the neighboring regions, it is believed that it was built in the Chalcolithic period . The existence of human bones from only one person is significant.

The monument was classified as a dolmen with a short or nonexistent corridor, with a southeast-oriented sub-trapezoidal approximately symmetrical open chamber, which was probably covered with capstones. Remnants of the tumulus are still visible. The structure from which the end stones and curbs often sloping inward on both sides have been preserved shows differences that cast doubt on their archaeological evaluation. An important detail is the fact that this megalithic complex is very small compared to similar ones.

The dolmen is not an anta and has not yet been registered as a cultural heritage.
