Lancy dolmen
The Dolmen of Lancy (also Dolmen de Vauluisant ) is located in a small clearing, about 10 meters from the path, in the forest of Lancy, the central part of the forest of Vauluisant, about southwest of Saint-Maurice-aux-Riches-Hommes in the extreme north of the Yonne department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
description
The simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) is about 1.2 m high and 2.7 m long. It consists of a ceiling slab that rests on two supporting stones. He stands in the center of nine stones. The largest is a menhir about 1.6 m high. Two plates lying on the floor are clearly visible. It appears to be the remains of a circular hill edging that surrounded the dolmen.
It has been registered as a Monument historique since 1889 .
The Trainel dolmens are nearby .
