description

The west-east oriented megalithic bed is about 73.0 m long, 6.0 m wide and one meter high. The curbs were largely preserved, several were in situ . In the western half of the long bed lies the dolmen, which is positioned slightly at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the enclosure. In the eastern half there are three boulders , possibly the remains of a second chamber.

The chamber has internal dimensions of 2.2 × 1.2 m. On the long sides there is a large bearing stone in the north and a small one in the south. There is a keystone on the north side and an entry stone in the south that is 0.5 m lower than the bearing stones. All stones are in situ. A capstone (1.8 × 1.0 × 0.8 m) lies in situ on the north half of the dolmen. The second capstone is missing.

The chamber was cleared; a thin, cut flint ax is said to have been found. The follow-up examination in 1953 brought no findings.
