Domenico Ciufoli

Domenico Ciufoli (born July 3, 1898 , † April 30, 1975 in Rome ) was an Italian communist , inmate of Buchenwald concentration camp and member of parliament for the Italian Communist Party .

Life

Ciufoli joined the Communist Party of Italy (PCI). From 1939 to 1944 he was in French penitentiaries detained . In 1944 he was sent to the Buchenwald concentration camp, where he was part of the International Camp Committee in 1945 .

When the Nazi rule was eliminated, he went back to Italy. He became a member of the Central Committee (ZK) of the PCI and was a member of the Italian Parliament from 1948 to 1953 with the mandate of his party.
