history

Glass workshop in Naumburg, Gartenstrasse 10

The glass workshop "Wilhelm Franke", then "Dusberger & Hartung" and "Seyfarth & Isenmann", founded in 1859, has been run exclusively by the family, albeit with name changes. The Domglas Naumburg company has been working again as a master glass finishing company since 1966. After studying at the University of Art & Graphics in Hungary and graduating as a master craftsman, Lutz Gärlich took over the glass workshops in Naumburg an der Saale. At the age of 22, Lutz Gärlich, the son of a glass wholesaler, took over the workshops of Seyfarth & Isenmann. When the two companies Seyfarth & Isenmann and Glasmalerei Wilhelm Franke were taken over, countless drafts, drawings, cardboard boxes and photo plates from the last 100 years were found in the archives.

The field of activity began in Mecklenburg under the name Domglas Naumburg . Numerous altar and Church windows have been newly glazed. From design to assembly, everything came from a single source.
