Domingo Mendy

Domingo R. Mendy (* 1870 ; † unknown) was a Uruguayan fencer .

Domingo Mendy, brother of Pedro Mendy , took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris . While he failed in the preliminary round with the Uruguayan epee and saber team, he was sometimes more successful in the individual competitions. Although he was eliminated in the first round in the epee singles, he reached the quarter-finals with the foil and even advanced into the semi-finals with the saber.
