Pedro Mendy

Pedro Mendy (* 1872 ; † unknown) was a Uruguayan fencer .

Pedro Mendy, brother of Domingo Mendy , took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris . He was eliminated from the foil individual competition in the second round as fifth and thus penultimate in his group. He was defeated, among other things, by the later bronze medalist Maurice Van Damme . With the Uruguayan saber team, he failed in the preliminary round. In the individual, however, he was much more successful with this weapon and advanced to the semi-finals.
