Skulte (German: Adiamünde or Adjamünde ) is the capital of the municipality of the same name in the Limbaži district near the coast of the Bay of Riga in Latvia .

In the entire municipality of Skulte (Skultes pagasts), 2103 inhabitants live on 14,647.3 hectares. Part of the area belongs to the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve .
Skultes ev.-luth is of cultural and historical importance. Church from the middle of the 18th century with contemporary altar and pulpit with eight paintings, as well as portal and door arch. In the cemetery there is a family tomb belonging to the Freytag von Loringhoven family .

The place is relatively well connected to public transport. Skulte is the end of the Zemitāni – Skulte railway line . Ten trains a day run from Skulte to the capital Riga . The journey time is about an hour and ten minutes. The place is on the main state road A1 , which leads from Riga to the Estonian border (and further via Pärnu to Tallinn ). It is around 53 km to Riga and 257 km to Tallinn.
