Domingos Lopes Lemos

Domingos Lopes Lemos (born October 25, 1975 in Ermera , Portuguese Timor ) is an East Timorese politician. He is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party and CNRT General Secretary in the municipality of Ermera .

Career

Lemos has a teacher training. He was director of education in the community and superintendent of education in the Ministry of Education . At number 29 on the CNRT's list, Lemos failed in the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 because the party only won 22 seats. After the early dissolution of parliament in 2018, Lemos took up position 34 in the new elections on May 12th of the Aliança para Mudança e Progresso (AMP), which also includes the CNRT, and entered parliament. He is a member of the Parliamentary Commission on Education, Health, Social Security and Gender Equality (Commission F).
