The Dominica Macaw ( Ara atwoodi ) is an extinct Ara - kind , exclusively by a description of the historian Thomas Atwood († 1793) in his book A History of the Iceland of Dominica is known from the year 1791st According to Atwood's description, this macaw was colored green and yellow.
