The Dominican Monastery of St. Albert in Freiburg im Breisgau was a Dominican monastery that existed from 1939 to 2012. After an absence of around 150 years, the Dominican Order returned to Freiburg im Breisgau in 1934 and set up a new seat on the Schlossberg , which in 1939 was elevated to the Convent of St. Albert. The focus of the work has been and continues to be discussion groups. In 2012 the convent was closed and became a branch of a new St. Martin convent .
