Dominion Global (formerly Beroa ) is a conglomerate that is majority owned by the Spanish auto supplier CIE Automotive . The Spanish headquarters are in Madrid , the German in Ratingen-Lintorf . The company is a world leader in furnace and chimney construction .
In 1997 the Spanish investor group INSSEC founded Beroa. The company grew over the next few years through many takeovers, including Karrena (2001) and Burwitz (2006).
In 2010 the predecessors Karrena Glas, Burwitz Feuerungsbau, Lichtenberg Feuerungsbau, Burwitz Ruhr, Burtherm Feuerungsbau and GMI were merged to form BEROA Germany. In 2015 it was renamed Dominion Industry. Outside Germany, many other subsidiaries belong to Dominion Industry, such as the Danish steel chimney builder Steelcon, the British chimney builder Bierrum, the German NovoCOS and the French CTP-Thermique.
In 2016 the company went public. In the same year, the American chimney builder Commonwealth Dynamics was taken over.
