Don Commons

Donald James Commons (born May 5, 1952 ) is a former Australian triple jumper .

In 1974 he was seventh at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch and in 1977 eighth at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf .

In 1976 and 1977 he was Australian champion. He set his personal best of 16.55 m on October 30, 1977 in Canberra .

His brother Chris Commons was successful as a long jumper.
