Don Faircloth

Don Faircloth (actually Donald Kevin Faircloth; born November 26, 1948 ) is a retired British marathon runner .

In 1970 he won the Polytechnic Marathon and, starting for England , won bronze at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh with his personal best of 2:12:19 h.

In 1971 he finished second in the Kyoto Marathon. In the following year, a fifth place in the Maxol Marathon and a victory in the Polytechnic Marathon was followed by a sixth place in the Košice Marathon . In 1973 he was ninth in the Maxol Marathon, in 1974 third in the Karl Marx Stadt Marathon and in 1975 fifth in the Harlow Marathon.

In 1977 he won the Rotherham Marathon and the Harlow Marathon and in 1980 the Barcelona Marathon . At the London Marathon he was tenth in 1981 and 1982 .
