Don Jordan

Don Jordan (* 22. June 1934 in Los Angeles , USA ; † 13. February 1997 ) was an American boxer in the welterweight division .

Professional career

In 1953 he began his professional career successfully. On December 5, 1958, he boxed against Virgil Akins for the universal world title and won on points. He lost this belt on May 27, 1960 to Benny Paret by a unanimous decision of the judge.

Jordan ended his career in 1962.
