Carl Duane

Carl Duane (* 25. June 1902 in New York , New York City , USA ; † 23. June 1984 in Parsippany , New Jersey , USA ) was an American boxer in the super bantamweight . He was managed by Mike Valentine .

Professional career

Duane won his debut fight on April 6, 1921 against Silent LaMont on points.

In late August 1923 he met Kid Wolfe . This fight is about the so-called linear world championship. Duane won over 12 rounds by unanimous decision. However, he got rid of this title in the same year.

In 1929 Carl Duane ended his career.
