Kid Wolfe
Kid Wolfe (* 11. June 1895 in Russia ; † 22. April 1975 in Cleveland , Ohio , USA ) was an American boxer in the super bantamweight . He was managed by Tommy McGinty .
Professional career
On April 18, 1911 Wolfe boxed in his professional debut against Cal Delaney only a draw.
On September 21, 1921, Wolfe took on Joe Lynch and beat him over 15 rounds by unanimous decision. This win earned him the linear world title . Wolfe was also the first linear world champion in this weight class .
At the end of August of the following year, however, he lost this title to Carl Duane on points.
In 1931, Kid Wolfe ended his career.
